Victims in Nepal are no longer spectators. The Crime Victim Protection Act, 2075 gives them the right to be informed of every step — FIR copy, investigation updates, charge sheet, bail hearings, trial dates and appeals — plus interim compensation, identity shielding and a Victim Relief Fund that pays even where the offender cannot.
We file complaints that actually move, monitor investigations so files don't stall, appear at bail hearings to voice risk, claim compensation through every available route (offender, fund, parallel statutes), and press for appeal where judgments fail victims. For those who cannot afford counsel, we route Legal Aid Act support.

How we handle it
1
Complaint that moves
A fact-dense, section-precise FIR or court complaint with medical and documentary annexures — drafted to survive scrutiny.
2
Investigation watch
We track the file: seizure memos, statements, forensic reports — pushing back when investigation drifts or stalls.
3
Bail & protection voice
Victim-risk submissions at bail hearings; protection orders and safe accommodation where threat persists.
4
Trial participation
Victim-counsel presence, testimony preparation, and compensation submissions at sentencing.
5
Compensation & appeal
Fund applications, recovery from the offender as government arrears, and appeals against acquittals or inadequate awards.
Punishments at stake
For victims the currency is protection and payment: interim relief during trial, offender-paid compensation at sentence (recoverable as government arrears), and Fund awards where offenders can't pay — with unpaid awards outranking fines.
Common questions
Can I get money for treatment before the trial ends?
Yes. Courts can order interim compensation and treatment from the Fund mid-case under Section 29 of the Victim Protection Act — you don't wait years for judgment.
What if the offender has no property?
The Fund still pays. Where the offence is proved but the offender can't satisfy the award — or can't even be convicted in some situations — the court orders payment from the Fund.
Will the accused know who I am?
Your identity is shielded by codename and sealed records, in-camera proceedings are available, and the protection continues through appeal.
